My high index 1.67 lenses cost $312 today whereas 2 years ago they cost $80. Did they cost go up so drastically or was I overcharged by my optometrist?

It all depends. Some places charge more than others. High Index Lenses tend to be a little bit more money but that just seems like a lot. You can check our website and compare it to other places because we do not own a store front so our costs tend to be a lot lower than most places.
