What’s new in the work of high index lenses

For me the toughest thing about wearing glasses is my high prescription, thus making my glasses have the bug eye look.  Thankfully, we offer 1.9 Glass High Index Lenses.  They are the thinnest lens material in existence and are scratch resistant so the glasses will last a long time with no wear.

Check out our Masterpiece Collection Melanie for your high index lenses.  This frame is a stylish, lightweight plastic that can easily accommodate high index lenses.

The Higher the index the Thinner the lenses will be. The 1.90 glass will look the best cosmetically but might be slightly heavier than the 1.74 high index plastic. The 1.90 glass is has a much better optical quality as well. Let us know if you have any other questions.
