      Hi Omoh,

High index lenses are made from plastics other than polycarbonate, which is technically a plastic polymer in its own right.

Your order form does not state whether the high index plastic 1.74 lenses are made by Zeiss. Are they? If not, can i purchase the Zeiss brand? Is there an up charge?
    Thanks,
